Driving along a mountain road, you can arrive the “Hanashi-no Village”.
Kichijoji temple , quietly nestled at the very back of the village, is a tranquil temple surrounded by nature on all sides.
While gazing at the Japanese garden that makes use of the mountain behind it, you can clear your mind, look at yourself and experience a precious opportunity of peace and tranquility for your mind.
After the zazen experience, you will walk up to Konpiraten shrine , It is about a 20-minute (approximately 1.2 km) there from Kichijoji temple.
Aerobic exercise can refresh your body and mind!
The panoramic view from the top of the mountain and the fresh air as though have a cleansing effect on the body.
Konpiraten shrine is not usually open to the public.
The ceiling painted drawn by Kano Soboku by the Edo period painter, and the animals and plants remain vibrant in color even after hundreds of years.
You can calm down your mind through zazen, refresh your body and mind by walking in nature, and look up at the ceiling and be moved by ancient Japanese art.
