The 2025 Camellia Festival will be held on Sat, April 6th.
Outdoor tea ceremonies and so on are planned. (Details to be determined)
In the grounds of Kokushoji Temple, there is a big camellia tree that is 8 meters tall and said to be over 350 years old.
It blooms with double flowers from early to mid-April, and the fallen flowers make a red carpet under the tree.
The landscape of the deep green leaves and the bright red camellias contrasting is like a painting.
