Every year on the second Sunday in Nov. a festival is held that recreates a Samurai parade from around 300 years ago.
Cries of “shita-ni-shita-ni” echo through the old-fashioned townscape that evokes the age of the samurai.
The sight of a samurai parade of over 80 people dressed as lords, princesses, magistrates, doctors, and ladies-in-waiting slowly marching down main street is spectacular!
People feel as if they’ve traveled back in time to an samurai era.
