Kagura dance(Sacred music and dance)

   Bicchu Kagura dance is designated as an Intangible Important Cultural Property asset of the country, and is one of the traditional performing arts representing Japan.
It is performed actively at autumn festivals and dedicated as a Shinto ritual in this town very year.
In addition, the “Children’s Bicchu Kagura dance” performed by children has become an indispensable part of Yakage Town’s events and festivals, and the tradition of Bicchu Kagura dance has been passed down to the next generation.
